The college opened in 1872 and moved into this building in 1874. Today it is the official venue for the Hamilton Football/Netball Club, as well as several other sporting associations within Hamilton.

The 'House' as it is often referred to, has a TAB, Poker Machine room, bar facilities and a dining and function room. It also houses a complete gymnasium and rooms for the 'Past Players' of the Hamilton Football Club.

The Dining Room is open for meals 7 days per week with a delicious menu on offer. There is car parking facilities provided in the grounds, and its central location in town makes it one of Hamilton's well known meeting places.
