ALEXANDRA HOUSE
Alexandra House was originally built as a College for Ladies and is of regional significance both for its historical associations and for its architecture. The college opened in 1872 and moved into this building in 1874. Today it is the official venue for the Hamilton Football/Netball Club, as well as several other sporting associations within Hamilton.
The 'House' as it is often referred to, has a TAB, Poker Machine room, bar facilities and a dining and function room. It also houses a complete gymnasium and rooms for the 'Past Players' of the Hamilton Football Club.
The Dining Room is open for meals 7 days per week with a delicious menu on offer. There is car parking facilities provided in the grounds, and its central location in town makes it one of Hamilton's well known meeting places.
